TRITON UNVEILS A TRIO OF INNOVATIONS AT OCEANOLOGY
GLOBAL subsea technology company Triton Group will unveil a trio of new developments at the Oceanology conference and exhibition in London today (March 9, 2010).
Triton will demonstrate its commitment to further developing new technology with the release of the dynamic Mojave ROV and the first demonstration of VisualDVR HD, a newly developed advanced digital video recording underwater software system.
The Aberdeen-headquartered company completes its presence with the presentation of a conference paper on the third generation Rovdrill, a remotely operated seafloor sampling and data acquisition rig.
Allan Spence, general manager of Triton company Seafloor Geoservices will discuss the concept of ultra deepwater geotechnical investigations and the role Triton Group can play within the industry.

Triton company Sub-Atlantic Ltd developed the highly anticipated Mojave ROV which has already secured an order from Swedish survey company Marin Mätteknik AB (MMT AB) who will be displaying two of the vehicles at Oceanology.
The Mojave is the most powerful piece of equipment for its size on the market and it’s the ideal vehicle for numerous subsea missions. It operates to a 300m depth rating and uses the very latest in miniaturised PC technology. Available for sale and rental, it features subCAN™, the leading control and diagnostics telemetry software / hardware and is highly versatile, suitable for scientific, port security, military and civil engineering missions, diver safety cover, internal and external pipeline inspection among other missions.
Fellow Triton Group company VisualSoft will launch VisualDVR HD, a digital video recording inspection system which allows clients to record multiple channels. Building on the original single and multi-channel VisualDVR system, the HD version is ideal for subsea inspection and underwater video recording applications.
